Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14th, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast considered one the sport's most outstanding athletes. Biles was the first American female gymnast to ever win four gold medals during a single Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she also became the first woman to ever win consecutive World All-Around titles. Biles as well as her sister Adria Biles and Ronald Biles were adopted as young children by grandparents of Houston. Simone began to be interested in gymnastics when she was just six. Her coach Aimee Borman took her to Bannon's Gymnastix and they took them to an outing. Biles received a silver medal for vault and a bronze medal in floor at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She began playing in elite levels of competition. Biles was a dominant athlete within a mere two years. Biles was distinguished by her consistency in performance, vivacious character, as well as the difficulty she encountered in each of the four events such as vault, uneven bars and the balance beam.
