Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England), is an English artist and singer. Ellie Goulding's infectious electronic sound swiftly brought her to the top charts after she was noticed by the general public in 2010. Her ability to achieve this feat with her singles "Starry Eyed", and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has a unique soprano scream, and an aptitude to write songs that are emotional with positive lyrics. Like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she's on the cutting edge of contemporary mainstream pop as well as arty independent music. Polydor Records offered her a deal with major label.
